Artists

Avi Rei
Avi Rei is a 19 year old artist in the Philippines. They love vivid, neon colors, fantasy, cyberpunk, hard dark lines, tarot-card vibes, and the heavy use of iconography.
They currently use an iPad as their main tool for art, succeeding a Wacom Tablet.
Their work takes inspiration from their scattered philosophical thoughts regarding themself, others, the world, and how they all interrelate. Much of their art comes from thoughts regarding their depression and its relation to their queerness. A common symbol in their work is the butterfly, a symbol of spirituality and major change, which carries the notion
that “nothing will be the same again".
Though they create primarily original works and characters, they likes to stray away from Western fantasy by exploring Filipino folklore and mythology, like in their art series of
Filipino deities.
